Nesta caso, a relação entre a recta e a flecha do vau é de 1/40 o que produz&amp;nbsp; uma curvatura generosa, mas não excessiva. Segue-se a aplicação dos vaus que devem ser posicionados tendo em conta o tosado da coberta. De acordo com a documentação da época, da mestra para vante o pavimento das cobertas levanta dois palmos ( aprox. 50 cm) e da mestra para ré levanta três palmos ( aprox. 75 cm).
